A monomial is a number, a variable, or the product of a number and one or more variables with whole number exponents.
"Monomials are the building blocks of Algebra."
These little "snippets" are just a small blob of what goes on in Mrs. Bowerman's math class. Sarah is gazing intently upon the board and Tobbs is devouring a spoon. How typical. Nick and Tobbs are now blabbing about I don't know what.
Mono means one and poly means many. I'm am sitting under the tent. The camp chairs are kind of deadish, but it brings back fond memories of 5th grade math. Those were the good old days with hot chocolate and white boards. Haha. Lunch was a fun affair as we had delicious chicken alfredo from Nona's. Mrs. Reynolds and A.J. aslo shared some scrumptious Amish "friendship" bread with the class.
A.J. and I are awaiting as Theo finishes up her blog post so we can embark on a "special" journey...outside the classroom.
